Whispering Waters Farm

The Word on the Street

The first time I attended an event at Whispering Waters Farm, it was a wedding in July. It was absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony took place next to the river and it really could not have been more beautiful and serene. The event coordinators went out of their way to accommodate the bride and groom to make their day a very special one! I would highly recommend Whispering Waters Farm for your next special occasion!

Whispering Waters Farm is a stunning location in Washington. The farm has a gorgeous view of Mount Hood, a great barn for indoor time, and a lovely creek for adults and kids to play in:). Which we did!:). I received so many compliments on how beautiful the location was and how relaxed the whole event was. It was even better than I dreamed it could be. We elected to have our wedding down by the creek, in a shaded meadow. There was a raised platform for dancing and facilities for the guests to use. John has a BBQ and a "kitchen on wheels," which is a brilliant mobile kitchen on a flatbed trailer. We hung giant red and white paper lanterns in the trees and it couldn't have looked better. John brought our supplies and decorations down on trucks and trailers, which was fairly easy. The part that my guests loved the most was that our guests parked higher up on the property and John brought them down to the creek in a white hay wagon that he pulled behind his tractor. They loved it and it made my day special and unique. My day was perfect at Whispering Waters Farm. I couldn't have asked for anything more. We wanted a lovely location and an event where both we and our guests could sit back and enjoy each other, and that's exactly what we got. I can't thank John and Andra enough!

Come visit and enjoy the laid back lifestyle of the country on 69 acres of beautiful vistas, abundant wildlife, goats, berries, hay and trees. Miles of walking paths surround the serene landscape, making for a beautiful getaway. Of our 69 acres at Whispering Water, our guest favorite is the Riverside Park area. Totally secluded and private for even larger parties- it’s like having a public park all to yourself. Come dance on the deck, or wander down the forest paths- the tall fir and hemlock giving you a sense of place and grandeur.

Guests with a bit of the forest spirit are welcome to wade in the river, go for a hike, or play a game of horseshoes. We’ve had several brides arrive via hay wagon, and we’re waiting for the first one to try arriving via canoe. Can you imagine the entrance to your wedding party? Riverside Park offers a very private acre of space along the Little Washougal River, a dance platform, and fire pit. It can accommodate 500+ people. There’s space for 40 cars nearby; additional guests can be shuttled from the barn parking area.

If you are worried about rain, we suggest renting the barn as a backup, it’s lovely, warm, and insulated. It’s also a great option for the rehearsal dinner. To keep your guests comfortable, we recommend renting a changing tent for the wedding party.

With traditional red rustic charm to contrast the brilliantly green outdoors- it will be a wedding everyone will remember. The views from inside are spectacular, offering many opportunities for your photos to be as unique as your relationship. With 6,000 feet total, we offer 4,800 for rental (the rest is reserved for farm equipment). It has a radiant heated floor, and is well insulated, with optional drapes for a more formal wedding. There’s also room for a large tent in front of the barn, where the views of the surrounding hills are completely delightful. It can easily accommodate 250 people for dinner, or 500 theater-style.
Parking is available for 250 cars. Water and electric included.
